Throughout our photo session, I become one with my camera, documenting your story in a serene ambiance. All in the beauty of natural light and with an arty and joyful touch. Your shoot is going to be amazing - no need to worry about that! Keep an open mind. I'll be there to capture your life as it unfolds naturally, without any expectations, too much posing or pressure to perform. Packages and prices
Every session includes:
- A preparation and styling guide to ensure you feel relaxed and prepared for your session
- Option to ask me any questions in the lead up to your shoot (and after your session)
- A questionnaire to help me get to know you and your story better
- Access to my extensive client wardrobe and blankets
- No time pressure during the shoot. A Pregnancy or Family session typically lasts 1.5 to 2 hours, while newborn sessions may extend a bit longer, lasting 2 to 3 hours.
- A password protected online gallery to view your images and to share them with family and friends
- An 'After Guide' with some tips to help you preserve your photoshoot memories
- My travel time and expenses within London
- Separate images can be purchased for £12.50 per photo
- There is an option to purchase prints separately from the print store in your online gallery

Would you like to book a pregnancy shoot as well as a newborn shoot? You will receive £50 credit towards a newborn shoot, regardless of which package you book .
Shoots must be booked at the same time.
When would be the optimal time for your session?
Pregnancy session - The best time to plan your shoot, is when you are between 30 and 36 weeks pregnant. These few weeks represent the best time to show off a nice round pregnant belly.
Newborn Session - Whenever you feel ready after your baby is born, you can get in touch with me to arrange the exact date and time. While the ideal age for the photo shoot is between 5 and 10 days old, every stage is worth capturing. The first 2 weeks is that precious, tiny phase and I often capture beautiful sleeping moments. When they get older, you'll see more awake expressions, interaction, chubby cheeks and cute playful moments and smiles. Please note: around 2 weeks, babies may experience baby acne, so we try to avoid that phase if possible.
Family Session - Choosing the right moment for a family portrait session is essential, and while any time is suitable, I particularly recommend spring, summer, or early autumn. If we can arrange it, capturing the beautiful golden hour is ideal, but an early morning session can be just as stunning. Together, we'll coordinate and find the perfect date and time that suits us both.

How does it work
I. Book your slot
To book a photo shoot, simply send me an email via my contact form. I will provide you with a booking link to finalise your booking. Together we'll find a suitable time and date.
When booking a shoot, a £200 non-refundable deposit is payable to secure your slot. Once booked, you will receive a preparation and style guide to help you prepare for the shoot.
Not sure yet what package you'd like to book? No worries, you can choose after you've seen the images. You can select your favourite images from your gallery and decide on the appropriate package. The £200 deposit is then deducted from your package total.
II. During the session
Most importantly, your photoshoot is going to be fantastic—no need to stress! Just stay open-minded. I'll be there to capture your life unfolding naturally, without any pressure.
Every session is different, and the magic happens when things are spontaneous and unexpected. Trust the process, relax, enjoy the time with your loved ones, and with my gentle guidance, we'll create something beautiful together.
A standard Pregnancy or Family photo session typically lasts 1.5 to 2 hours, while newborn sessions may extend a bit longer, lasting 2 to 3 hours.
III. After the session
- I'll send you some sneak peaks within 24 hours
- Photos can be viewed within two weeks after the shoot, from your password protected gallery
- From this gallery you can select your favourite images and decide on the appropriate package
- After completing the total payment, your final selection will be available to view and download
- You can share your favourite photos with family and friends

- After completing the total payment, your final selection will be available to view and download in your gallery
- Package 4 includes a coupon, intended to cover the cost of 10 complimentary 5”x7” prints. The client has the flexibility to use the coupon towards an alternative print option of their choice. Simply use the provided code at checkout in the store, accessible through your gallery. Please be advised that the client is responsible for covering the postage costs.
- Feel free to share on social media. I simply ask that you credit my business @hedwigdenhartog.photography and that you do not put filters on any photos
- Photos will be used for my website and social media. If you do not prefer this, please indicate when booking a shoot
- Rates are incl. VAT and incl. my travel expenses within London. If the travel duration exceeds one hour from Wimbledon, package 2 becomes applicable as a minimum requirement
- Travel expenses within The Netherlands are variable
